The location was close to the train station

Request for ID or bank card when checking in...even though this wasnt mentioned when booking. The noise from surrounding pubs until gone midnight/ no noise proofing and wouldnt move me to a different room due to only having suites left. I asked for my case to be kept for an hour after check out, no details taken and case handed to me via different member of staff that never asked for any confirmation of who I was, just handed a case over. Curtains were thin and let in the light.

Central location, easy access to pubs, restaurants and shops Car parking at the very close Castle Street Car Park is only £1 all day on Saturday and free on Sunday

Easy to find and the nearby parking was really cheap. Some nice places to eat nearby

Rooms are VERY basic and in desperate need of a completer re-do not the little touch ups it’s clearly had. Hotel is surrounded by pubs a which like to play live music or karaoke so it’s very loud until Midnight there’s also a lot of very loud locals who like to shout their conversations right outside. There’s also the boy racer element who insist on driving around popping exhausts and revving engines and blasting their own music as well, sometimes until 2-3:00 am The rooms are also hot…really hot. Large glass windows that have the sun on them all day…no air con, no fans. It’s just a really noisy, sweat box you’ll be staying in.

The hotel was spotless, staff were very helpful. Location was great

Room nice and bright, unable to cool it down, so hard to get to sleep at ti.mes.
