"Don’t book. Dirty & stinks of smoke"

Single female travelling for business. Check in was straight forward & friendly, Was given a room at the back of the hotel with no window, bedroom door was open on arrival and room was dirty and stank of smoke. Bathroom was damp with peeling paint. No TV on bracket... turned straight back to reception and explained, nice young man apologised and I was given a new room with big windows and a nice view of the hills, however room did not lock from the inside, the corridors and room smelt stale smoke. I reluctantly put up with it as early evening and I had an event to run the next day. The company will not be using your hotel in future. Some of the management feedback in relation to complains is pure ego driven ‘man baby’ energy and dangerously dismissive. Grow up and take accountability for your establishment.
