Hotel Medena Budget

Very friendly and efficient staff especially at reception. Our room was spotless and well equipped. It was so comfortable with s fantastic sea view. Great location with excellent facilities.

Property is quite old and gives a feeling of and old hospital ward. Rooms are spacious and clean and staff is friendly. This property is 40 minutes from split and expedia stated that it was 5 miles from split when I was looking for a hotel. I am more disappointed from expedia than the property.

The Medena is a classic relic of socialist days. The massive hotel has seen better days but there are elements of the old days that are worth seeing and the rates are reasonable enough.

Clean, basic and nice. Any small problems fixed swiftly. Maybe an extra juice machine or two needed for breakfast time but everything was great. Location and beach front perfect. Holiday beach vibe at hotel beach and cheap boat taxi to the towns like Trogir and Split. Beautiful towns but glad we stayed at this hotel with lovely beach. Great day trips from there as well! Small stones not sand were perfect, easy to walk on and no sand stuck to you!

Hotel was dated. Room smelled, hard uncomfortable mattress, and food was terrible. Difficult to get taxis or transfers to Trogir/Split. The only positive was the view. Would not recommend to anyone. Will not stay here again.
