Booked overnight stay to purchase car next morning. Place was excellent - really good value for money, very large room bed with super comfortable. Plenty of hot water for shower anbd bath and room was warm - not sure on earler problems reported. Breakfast was excellent and staff were all so helpful and wanting to get everything right - would happily use again

It was lovely. Fresh and clean room, really comfy bed and am amazingly friendly cleaner - she was so welcoming.

The noise from the bar went on until midnight. It was very loud and there were a lot of drunk youths in and around the pub. The details should mention. There is a lot of noise until midnight as others have mentioned too.

Breakfast ten out of ten, we were looked after really well, food was good and service was excellent. Excellent meal in the restaurant.

The entrance if you arrive from the street needs to be tidied up & stair carpet not clean, doesn’t give a good first impression to the hotel, really lets it down , weeds outside the building. We were in our room as the Thursday quiz was on, very noisy from the microphone, would have been better if it finished earlier, we could still hear it after 11 pm! We never did receive the promised welcome folder in our room!

Breakfast was exceptional! Very clean bedding.

Bathroom could be updated but everything worked, except no hot water in sink.

Lovely quite room, had fridge and a fan, breakfast was lovely too, lots of choice.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. However, it was a very cold day and bedroom didn't have a carpet, it had laminate flooring. And it was single glazed windows. We felt very cold.

We have stayed here a few times as it is close for visiting our daughter. The pub has a nice atmosphere and history. The breakfast was great and the chef was very friendly. The room was warm, clean and comfy.
