"Comfy and convenient stay."

Convenient location - well sign posted and plenty of parking. Nice garden. On a main road (convenient) - but far enough back not to be affected by road noise. Lovely comfy bed with soft sheets and great pillows. Beautiful soft & fluffy towels. Robe & slippers provided. Drinks tray (but sadly no biscuits). Plenty of hanging space with hangers, even though the room was compact. Wash basin in the room with nice quality products to use. Fantastic bathroom and shower - bigger than the bedroom itself. Able to specify breakfast time/ requirements the night before and breakfast was delicious (except the mushrooms) and the coffee was great!

The online description says you have the use of a private bathroom - I didn't realise this meant you had to exit the room to get to it. It wasn't a problem in the end (dressing gown and slippers were provided), but you had to remember to take the key and try not to make too much noise in the middle of the night for other guests, with any toilet stops. Mushrooms at breakfast.

Excellent hearty breakfast with a very full selection. Very friendly and helpful host and lovely clean room with very comfy beds and lovely bath and monsoon shower.

We drove from Fort William during Storm Amy and were very happy to arrive at the White House. We were immediately greeted by Prue and welcomed in. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable; the beds especially so. Tea/coffee supplies in the rooms were plentiful, and the toiletries in the bathroom were lovely. One of the reasons we chose the White House was because it is dog friendly. We had 3 dogs with us and it was obvious that Prue loves dogs and she was great with them. Breakfast was a full English with options of yoghurt, fruit and cereal as well. Duck treats provided for the dogs. We would definitely stay again.
