Bay Cottage B&B

Truly outstanding. Once you land to Belfast, give Elizabeth a ring from the pay phone in the airport; she will pick you up. The room is comfortable and clean and I have never seen more cozy common area downstairs. Let's not forget the breakfast... you can order breakfast in the menu and everything is extremely good (the breakfast is included in the price so you don't have to pay anything). When I'm traveling, I pay extra attention to the food and the breakfast went above and beyond. Honestly, it was a steal to stay in B&B like that in such inexpensive prices. When you want to check out Belfast and rest of the Northern Ireland, it is best to take a shuttle from the airport and which Elizabeth will give you the ride. It's about 30-40 minutes bus ride but it is enjoyable because everyone in Northern Ireland (and Ireland, in my experience) is quite nice and genuinely curious.

Good price for convenient airport location. Elizabeth is a helpful, pleasant host. Nice bathroom, and plenty of room in the bedroom. Good, filling breakfast. Good directions given to navigate the rural location, with nice view of the lake(lough) just beyond the nice backyard with its non-noisy ducks. And while you're in a very rural setting, it's an easy 5-10 minute drive to the airport.

This B&B had the best breakfast we've had. The site was a little hard to find but well worth the drive. It was a quiet country spot with a great view of fields and the lough. Elizabeth recommended a good local restaurant and a great tourist site on our drive up from Dublin (Newgrnge). We recommend it to others.

Located the B&B with the help of a NAV system on an out of the way one lane roadway. Beautiful setting across from the lake with black sheep in the pasture. Owner was gracious and helpful upon our arrival. Room was decent size; beds were comfortable; bathroom across the hall was spacious with a good sized tub with shower. Convenient with a short drive to good restaurants and pubs. Breakfast selections were varied and well prepared. Quiet nights with no traffic. Close to the Belfast International Airport for quick travel for departure. Wonderful stay; would stay again.

Such a bliss to stay at Bay Cottage! Our room (The Green Room) has the full view of the lake, such a joy to watch the swans and ducklings in the lake. The room is clean and well equipped, very comfortable bed. Elizabeth is a wonderful host, very thoughtful and considerate, also very knowledgeable of the area. The breakfast is made of many local produce and absolutely delicious.

Lovely hosts, good food, beautiful location. Spacious and comfortable accommodation.
