Pleasantly surprised at how big the room was and updated tastefully
The motel was very clean and easy parking. It was convenient for us as we had a interclub gathering at the Mehi River caravan park. 5 minute easy walk also an easy 10 minute walk to town.
Nice bed after a big drive. Good service and well placed
King-size beds are available in this otherwise ubiquitous motel. We walked to dining restaurants down the CBD, which is just fine around sunset. Nothing special about the bathroom or facilities. Close to the artesian baths, if that's your thing.
It had mould every where no wifi would not stay there again
Wasn't overly clean, didn't appreciate walking in and out of our room and into a cloud of cigarette smoke everytime at our door caused by presumably the family running the motel a few doors up. This was an all day thing, 3 or 4 of them sitting outside their room puffing up a constant cloud of smoke. Disgusting. No much thought given for paying customers. Also bare wires hanging out of the wall inside the cupboard where the dinner plates are stored, no idea if they were live or not wasn't going to find out. Won't be going back.

Booked ahead. Ok,it's 'economy' so maybe it's what I should expect. After at least five minutes at a vacant reception,needed to phone reception to bring the manager. Turned out to be a nice guy. The room was clean. Had a queen bed against a single bedhead with no bedside lights. In fact you could hardly get into bed from one side it was so close to the wall. So I guess if you want a clean room and a good night's sleep at 95 bucks,its ok. Not a vacation hotel.
