Not a great stay for me. Smell from drain in bathroom, reported but not fixed. Noisy exhaust fan. Could not get through to reception to get wifi.

I was turning up late so the owner stayed up until I arrived. The next morning he greeted me by name.
We booked this motel because it had 24 hour check-in. There was a mix up with our booking and when we arrived in the early hours of the morning there was nobody there to check us in. To avoid confusion/frustration I recommend phoning ahead to confirm booking/arrival time. Petra, the motel owner's mother, was lovely. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a good, hot shower. The room had plenty of tea/coffee/crockery. Because we were waiting outside for about an hour before getting checked-in we only managed to sleep for a short while and were then woken by the noise of departing guests from nearby rooms. The owner phoned to apologise and, overall, we were happy. It's a good motel if, like us, you're passing through Moree. We would stay here again.
my family stayed on a stopover to Hervey Bay Clean and comfortable rooms,with lovely staff just off the highway,walking distance to a nice pub with good meals.
Lovely greeting when we arrived, wonderful clean room with great facilities.
