The hotel and grounds are well maintained. The rooms are recently updated and really lovely.

Given the prevalance of the desert flies, there were suprisingly few places that you could sit inside and read or hang out to get away from them.

The location was really good and the balcony in the room was amazing.

The pool was really cold, not many food options and the ones available were very low quality. Very expensive for what they offer. Also, none of the resorts activities were at this hotel so we always had to go to a different resort to attend them. Lastly, we had a lot of bugs in our room.

The hotel is only 5 star from a price perspective. Everything is expensive and touristy. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. BUT, our room was not serviced until after 3pm on 2 days, whuch was very annoying. After a day of adventure, we wanted to shower and relax before dinner. I had to call and request the room be cleaned. Reception took nearly 20 mins to answer ! Pool was freszing and unpleasant even on a hot day. Buffet dinner was very overpriced for the quality. It was mediocre. The only positive was a yummy cabinet full of gluten free deserts. Bed was very comfortable, but my pillows were flat and hard. I have a sore neck after 2 nights. Byo pillow if you like a more supportive style. The shuttle bus was helpful. We were in walking distance to the shops and IGA which helped reduce costs. I would byo food next time and get an apartment.
