Please note that there is restricted access to the swimming pool at weekends from 17:00. Please note that there are limited dog-friendly rooms available. Guests are required to confirm with the property prior to arrival and terms and conditions apply There will be a GBP 25 charge per dog per stay. A maximum of 1 dog per room permitted. Please be aware that the swimming pool is lane swimming only so children must be over 12 years old to use the pool and be able to swim at least 50m Our pool will be closed for maintenance from 7th August to 11th August 2023. MINORS younger than 18 you are not able to check in by themselves and need to be with and adult. The pool is closed daily from Monday 10/8/2026 to Friday 14/8/2026 inclusive. A deposit may be required at the property.

The car park

A double bed, to small, the bar and restaurant were very small and nosey. The on suite was very old and the WC was ridiculously close to the wall.

Nice hotel . Beautiful location . Quiet . Comfortable room.

Coffee not very hot at breakfast due to it being made up in flasks . Not many staff around at all times .

"Extremely disappointing and expensive"

The property was in close proximity to where we needed to be

Extremely old and dated bedroom Very hot even with the radiator off and the windows open Only left decaf coffee sticks We had NO hot water for showers on the day of having to go to a funeral Waited an hour for a housekeeper to come and confirm “yes it’s cold” Breakfast was not edible Anemic bacon. Sausages that didn’t contain any pork. Powdered scrambled egg that tasted like it came from a ration pack. Awful coffee and bread thinner than paper. We missed our second breakfast and opted for a premier in. Breakfast where we’d originally booked and wished we had kept but opted here as was closer to the wake Big mistake

Emma was fantastic, booking.com hadn't sent my confirmation through to the hotel, apparently I was the 8th guest this had happened to. But I was able to email my confirmation to Emma and while I relaxed in the bar with a g&t Emma sorted it all out and upgraded me for the inconvenience even though she didnt have to.
