Please be aware that Galapagos is conformed by different islands; in this case you are arriving to to Santa Cruz Island. Once you arrive to Seymour Airport in Baltra Island, please take a public bus to Baltra Ferry Terminal where you should take a ferry to Santa Cruz Ferry Terminal. Then, take a bus or a taxi to Puerto Ayora. Give the driver the property's name and directions in order to arrive easily. This whole trip take approximately 40 minutes. To move between islands you can take a boat or plane; please check with your hotel the different schedules.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Perfect location, fantastic view. Very friendly staff. Very adventurous way of getting to the hotel: you need to use the water taxi ;o) Unforgettable (although short) stay! Thank you.

Restaurant was closed for renovation. Coming late (even 8 pm) there wasn nothing to eat and even bar was closed.

Only the breakfast

My wife and I recently stayed at the Angermeyer Inn, and unfortunately our experience did not come close to what was promised online. The property advertises itself as a five-star waterfront hotel with a restaurant, bar, and spa. In reality, none of that was available during our stay in September 2025. The restaurant was completely closed except for breakfast, which meant we had to leave the property every day for both lunch and dinner — something we had not planned for given the website’s promises. The spa was also advertised as opening in September 2025, but it remained closed throughout our entire visit. The first room we were given was dark, cramped, and smelled strongly of paint fumes from ongoing construction. After requesting a change, the second room still came with constant construction noise during the day and evening. This made it very difficult to relax or enjoy the stay. Service was underwhelming as well. Even the snorkeling gear provided was incomplete — one mask didn’t even have a breathing chamber, which made it unusable. Overall, this property is nowhere near the five-star standard it claims to be. Between the lack of promised amenities, ongoing construction, and disappointing service, our stay was frustrating and far below expectations. We regret choosing this hotel and would not recommend it to other travelers.
