Really unique older hotel .. woodwork very nice.. great location for walking to everything ..staff friendly and helpful.

Guter Service, sehr faires Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, gutes reichhaltiges Frühstück. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und würde jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel buchen!

The staff were very helpful and kind all the time. The location is perfect, next to the river and still far enough from the pub street. It has a swimming pool with 67 chairs which was a nice addition to the hotel. The design looks authentic.

The air-conditioning was not operating in the whole hotel, only in my room. Eating breakfast at 30 Celsius was kind of disappointing. The lobby is the same. I understand that there were a few guests but all paid for the same service. It was a major letdown. The lights are super white, ones that give a cemetery like feeling but some can live with it.

Staff were very friendly and helpful; the location was excellent.

The lighting in the room and bathroom was very poor. There were no bedside lamps which made it impossible to read in bed. The water pressure in shower was poor and at times, the water temperature was inadequate.

If you are a lover of woodwork. Go there but only to see the woodwork in the hotel

It feels like the staff his on its own and trying to keep the place running to have a salary. Breakfast is one of the worst I have in Asia, supremely minimalistic including in quality. coffee warm not hot, scarce food, low quality bread, ..., Staff very sweet and smiling but like the breakfast minimalistic, do not respond to queries or simply don't know, example: A place you would recommend for a nice cool beer ? Reply I don't know... Regarding cleanliness, we were welcomed by a cloud of mosquitoes, we had to ask to spray the rooms and I bought a can of spray. Bed sheets mended, towels with stains, ... Everything in this hotel is at the bare minimum

The hotel itself was fabulous and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and polite. The hotel is situated very close to the restaurants and Pub Street making it in a prime location. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.
