Tran Ly Hotel

Friendly staff made me feel welcome and let me store luggage, wash and get changed after I checked out. The hotel is in a perfect location near to bars and restaurants and also within walking distance of the Imperial Citadel.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, among the worst I've slept in as an experienced traveller. The room was also quite shabby and tired, although I think it was fine for the very reasonable price.

Price and location is good

There are lots of mosquitos in the room. It is not really clean. The smell is also strong… And there is no elevator. So we needed to bring the suitcase 2 floors. I do not complain about that in a hostel, but in a hotel I expect different.

Staff hosbitality, supportive and friendly.

The room is very noisy and too old. Some doors can not be closed, got stuck; the TV remote sometimes did not work, and the fan in the bathroom was too noise.

Staff is so friendly, we stayed one more night, place is perfect for visiting, eating, shopping. They can organise everything for you, motorbike renting, bus booking...and dont charge for that ! You will be treated like à King in Hué !

The noise of the Hue Walking Street was minimally audible. It didn‘t bother too much though.

The most friendly staff we have had on our 4 month traveling trip. The rooms were spacious and were really affordable at roughly £7 for the night. The location was perfect there was so much around us and made it easier to pop out for food/drinks.

We had a room without a window which didn’t bother us but may affect others. There is also no lift but staff helped us with our luggage.

Great location; near enough to the ancient city and the nightlife, but not loud at all. Clean, spacious rooms with good amenities at a great price. And the most wonderful staff imaginable: I had an issue with my visa, and they were able to help me figure it out, even accompanying me to the immigration office to help interpret and vouch for me! Even while staying at another place in Hue I am invited to come back to the hotel lobby to sit and chat any time I like.
