Tran Ly Hotel

There is no elevator. There is a restaurant across the road that plays loud music all night, every night, still playing at 4am. Sometimes they start at 4pm in the afternoon. This is torture. Rooms in the middle and rear of the hotel probably can't hear it. The hotel is very well positioned to access all the different food options. The staff are lovely. My husband enjoyed the terrarium that had a terrapin.

The property gives you the vibe of the hotel in early 2000s but well managed and clean. They change the sheets daily. The location is central with lots of nearby restaurants. The staffs are super nice and helpful! They are really the best value of the hotel. Highly recommend the hotel

Need to note that there is no elevator but that’s not a problem for me.

The room was very old fashioned. although clean it felt like it needed a bit love. The bathroom towels were threadbare and were virtually see through in places. However the main complaint had to be the noise from the nearby bars . It sounded like there were two bars playing particularly loud music with djs who were competing to who could be the loudest . It sounded like it right outside our bedroom window This did quieten down around midnight but I and wife are of pension age and like to retire reasonably early . In the morning we were woken by drilling and hammering from a building renovation a couple of doors down . So we decided it wasn't for us , cut our losses and left Hue for Halong bay and Cat Ba .

It was amazing for the price! Great location. Staff excellent

Anh, the receptionist, was the best in this hotel. She made everything she could to help us during three days to make our vacation wonderful. Thanks
