Hotel Nilya - Special Class

The Nilya is very homey thanks to the two owners, who went the extra mile (literally) to make our visit comfortable and efficient. Every morning they would ask what our plan was for the day and help make arrangements. One drove us to Ephesus (about 5 miles away) and later picked us up. That was a huge help. We loved the little courtyard, where we had a very full breakfast every morning. The location is an easy walk to the town center, but far enough away to feel removed from the tourist center, and very close is a really excellent pizza restaurant. If you like/love cats, this is a great place to stay since the neighborhood has many that wander around. If allergic you may want to find rethink visiting Turkey!

The rooms are a bit small, but absolutely fair for the price.

Ruhiges, familiengeführtes Hotel in guter Altstadtlage. Saubere Zimmer mit authentischer türkischer Einrichtung (Möbel, Bilder, Fayencen), die einen Einblick in die türkische Kultur geben. Wunderschöner, ruhiger und schattiger Garten zur Erholung und Entspannung nach Ausflügen. Ausgezeichnetes und reichhaltiges Frühstück im schattigen Innenhof – Garten. Außerordentlich gastfreundschaftliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Beide Hotelbesitzer (Erdal und Nazmi) gaben uns wertvolle Informationen zu Ausflugszielen, darüber hinaus befinden sich im Hotel Reiseführer in verschiedenen Sprachen, die ausgeliehen werden können. Wir sind besonders dankbar für Erdals Hilfe in einer Notlage (Mietauto). Im Nilya Hotel haben wir uns die ganze Zeit (8 Nächte) sehr wohl gefühlt. This property is incredible, the staff goes above & beyond to make sure you have an exceptional experience. The breakfast is fabulous & they offer tea all day long. The location is amazing, the beds are comfortable and the shower is incredible. So hot & the water pressure is amazing! Everything about this hotel is a 10, I stayed here twice during my time in Turkey & will absolutely come again!

The place is very typical and well located, and the staff was very friendly. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was really good.

Being an old building, there is some smell in the bathroom.

Lovely room with good decor. The room itself was clean. Amazing breakfast and hospitality.

The stairs leading to the room and outside the room smelled like cat piss. There were too many cats in the property, hence the smell was kind of unavoidable. Quite a few cats circling around breakfast as well. One would love the place if one was a cat person.
