Hotel Bella

What a fabulous hotel. Owner could not have been more friendly and helpful. He will take you free of charge to and from Ephesus and even lend you a guide book. The decoration was gorgeous, so traditional, especially the roof top lounge/ dining area. Beautiful Turkish lanterns, tiles, rugs and ceramics everywhere. He has a shop adjoining the hotel if you want to buy similar items. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and the wifi good. Took breakfast on the roof terrace which has great views overlooking St John's Basilica and more excitingly the nest occupied by two beautiful storks. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful and the service attentive. Owner recommended places to eat nearby as sadly his restaurant was closed this summer. Easy 5min walk into town. Will definitely visit again.

Beautifully decorated rooms - the man who runs this place also has a wonderful tile shop attached to the hotel and his amazing work can be found in all the rooms and the hallways. Super friendly and kind - gave us a free lift to a nearby attraction. Breakfast was also delicious.

This hotel is perfectly located next to the ancient ruins, central shopping and eating precinct. Set on a hill the rooftop terrace area has spectacular views over the ruins, town and surrounding countryside. The owners are very helpful, speak English and provide a free drop off and pickup at Ephesus which was just brilliant. They also provide great tips for other places to visit. Remember you are staying in a 3 star hotel but we have no complaints, loved the place and added a day to our stay because we enjoyed Selçuk so much. Oh they also have very high quality tiles, jewelery and rugs if you are that way inclined.

Wall paper peeled off, rusted screws everywhere and smelled like mold all the time. Breakfast was not good.

It is very convenient to go to restaurant and close by bus station. Hotel staff are very helpful to give me a ride to Efesus.But my room could not open the window because next room in front of my window.

The hotel is at a very good location. It is a few minutes walk from the town center, the train station and the bus station. The services were very good. The owner and the staff were very helpful and provided me all information I needed. Although the room was a bit small and there was only a fixed shower-head in the shower cubicle, it was still a cozy room. I though I had made a good choice to stay in this hotel.

Pros: charming decor, friendly helpful staff and owners, great location close to St. John’s Basilica, free shuttle to Ephesus. Cons: our room was tiny, the bathroom even more so. Lots of street noise. Bed very hard.

Wonderful, wonderful place to stay in almost every way. Only thing maybe bad for some people, the almost next door neighbor collect some goat/sheep waste for some use. You can smell it for maybe 10 seconds when passing by. Doesn't bother me though. Reminds me of when I was a little girl visited my grandmother in the country side.

This small hotel just back from the road and a few minutes from the sea is a good place to stay for a night or two. It is well run and and does a fantastic breakfast.The owner is a gentleman and helpful. The rose garden is spotless and rooms come with all you need for comfortable stay. I would stay longer but the noise from the adjacent rooms is high because of poor sound proofing. Rooms are so reasonably priced though and after 12 there was no problem with sound but its worth noting for longer stays. The local village is clearly in transition and with no bars and few people to speak english, we experienced an opportunity to explore Turkish people do their utmost to overcome language barriers by kindness and gestures. Great to happen on a place that is less visited and yet is delighted to see you...
