We so enjoyed our stay in Hotel Bella and probably should have stayed a few more days. We only went to Selçuk because it is close to Ephesus which is an amazing ancient site: don't miss the Terrace houses. But Selçuk also has much interesting ancient stuff as well as a lovely, friendly modern town with a fab museum. And the storks! When we were there, June, there were nests with up to 5 chicks. But back to Hotel Bella - enchanting decor, great breakfast and the friendliest most helpful staff. The boss is the star of the show- a super friendly, quick-witted, gregarious bloke. He was so flexible about transport. And there's a great shop as well as an Aladdin's cave of a carpet shop underneath. Our room was not spacious, though more than adequate, and the wifi was slow but these things are not important when there is, otherwise, so much charm.

The employees were nice and helpful. The hotel looks like an old house turned into a hotel. It looks very classic. They offer free ride to Emphesus. The room was too small (2 beds) and the A/C was not working properly. Can’t choose your breakfast. It is located up in the hill but with a great view in the rooftop.
The hospitality is fantastic. Nazmi and his associate arranged our pick up from the airport, drop off at Kusadasi port, and transportation to Ephesus, Sirince, and a restaurant with "tribal" food. All for much less than renting a car. Staying there was a great cultural experience as Nazmi loves to talk about his culture and he recommended terrific places to eat and visit. The location is next door to the St. John Basilica and castle, and a short walk from the center, bus station, ATMs, etc. There's a rooftop terrace that is lovely for hanging out, and spying on the storks in their nearby nests. Breakfast is very nice food, fresh and delicious. Be sure to order Turkish coffee, otherwise, you might get Nescafe! The hotel is not particularly modern, but it is well cared for and clean. It is a terrific cultural experience, comfortable enough, and richly rewarding to stay there.

This hotel was run by two local friends. They were very knowledgeable about the area and have a travel agency license so can take you to Ephesus. The entire was very helpful and friendly. This hotel is a perfect location for visiting all of the sites in this area. It is within walking distance of the main streets for restaurants, as well.

Hôtel Bella is a beautiful little very clean hotel with traditional decor and a very fresh healthy breakfast including eggs cooked to order. It is in an historic location with ancient Ephesus only 6 kms away. I was driven there. It is close to Selçuk train and bus stations and there are many restaurants and shops on the way. Nazri (?) recommended a great place for dinner. Excellent value.
Very helpful and friendly welcome. Property a short stroll from centre. Owner drove us to the Ephesus site and picked us up. Great breakfast and lovely terrace - storks nesting just over the road. A hotel with real character (and characters).
