Perfect location to relax. We stopped here between visited to Venice and Rome. It was the perfect balancing act for our trip. The staff are fantastic, the facilities are first rate and if there are better vista's anywhere, I would be shocked! The nightly 5 course dinners.....WOW The pool, wine and views, WOW Opportunity to stay there again, WOW If you are going to be in the area STAY HERE.

Amazing stay in a beautiful Tuscany location!

everything was above all expectations. Food was unbelievable, rooms were fantastic, location was very central. Just an awesome experience.

great location ,but car is a must.800 years old buildings with 20 century updates.very nice staff;good outdoor restaurant ;pool with wi-fi and trail to the lake ;amazing views off the valley and San Gimignano(15 minutes drive)

Our stay was better than we could have imagined. We loved everything about this place from the location, to the staff, to the food, to the facilities, to the ambience...literally everything. We will be telling all of our friends and family about this place.

We are three, my wife and one kid. My first time in Italy and in Toscana. The hotel is special for couples but not so much for kids (11 years old). Depending on your family/personal setup, you can stay in the hotel living the life of the Toscana or you can just take you car and drive to know many places in an area of 50km. We spend a awesome moment there.

Maria the host was exceptional very helpful made you feel like family. Had a 5 course dinner prepared by chef bruno which was excellent. Also a great breakfast the next morning. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great getaway in the coutnryside of Tuscany. We used the hotel to be close to San Gimignano and also to attend the Andrea Boccelli concert. The servie is great, very welcoming. The place is a bit of an offroad trek to get to but well worth it. The only downside was that our room didn't have airconditioning but had an amazing view.

Wonderful hotel. Owners and all people working there are pleasant and work to make everyone's stay enjoyable. Meals are as good as any restaurant. Grounds are lovely. Gorgeous pool with views of the town. Can't wait to go back in the spring.

We stayed at Torrachia de Chiusi in August 2012 and had an absolutely wonderful experience. You can see and feel the history in this magical, peaceful place. It seems very real and authentic and yet it has many modern amenities including WiFi and air conditioning (critical in August)! Grace is delightful and is happy to help with whatever you need. The cooking class with Bruno is a hoot. We had a great time despite the heat – picking fresh herbs from around the grounds, chopping the ingredients for dinner and even getting a sample of homemade bruschetta fresh out of the oven with a glass of vino – also made onsite of course. Stefano the owner was happy to show us his personal residence and views from the tower. We did the hike into San Gimignano, which took about 1:45 and wound through vineyards, up and down the hills of tuscanny and over a small creek – we HIGHLY recommend. The staff helped us get a taxi back to the Torrachia in the afternoon. After a long day of hiking and touring, the refreshingly cool pool was fantastic! The best views of Tuscanny and San Gimigiano right from the pool. The only slight disappointment was that the room with the terrace had an interior courtyard view – not the best view of the surrounding hills. But given the history, authenticity, and the incredibly nice staff, this was very easy to get over. Bottom line – we would absolutely highly recommend staying here.
