The Sea Hotel

compared to the first time we stayed nothing we wont be returning a third time sorry

this is our second stay which was worse room than first time given rooms back of hotel looking out ontoo roof wouldnt have minded but hotel wasnt full of guests also breakfast has declined from first time no headboard on beds which was hard for me as i have to sleep sat up not comfy agaist a wall

Breakfast was fabulous, but the coffee and tea should be included in the price not separately.

The room on the website advertised was nothing like the room we had. We were in the annex outside with a disabled bathroom, we were not informed that when the booking was made. Also surprised we had to put a £100 deposit down for breakages.

Staff were excellent and very friendly, reception and bar staff and the night porter gave excellent hospitality.

Staff at reception very helpful and friendly the girl who served our food and drinks at the bar was very good pleasant and always had a smile 😃 😊

Staff were great, very welcoming and responsive. Location is generally good for all the seaside activities. Breakfast was decent.

Blinds were tattered and broken (couldn't hold level). Windows were dirty (there's a lot of seagulls about). No A/C. Bathroom fan was not working. Room was very tired and needs a touch up. It was usable and I probably would have overlooked most of these things if it wasn't for the price. The room I was in is on the amusement side and you can expect very loud and repetitive music to be your companion until late. It makes relaxing in the room during the day a bit difficult. (obviously nothing the venue can do.)
