Hotel was right near the beach and showground ,not far from the shops

Great location near to the beach which is why I booked the hotel. Room was good in terms of location also as was very quiet and very convenient to where my car was parked... especially handy for items I wanted to take to the beach but not carry into the room.. reception staff and check in was very good, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was ok but not particularly great.

The room overall was very dark. The only light was via the main VERY bright lights in the bedroom. The bedside, wall mounted lights, didn't have any bulbs in them and I could have asked for some but didn't have the time. We were able to open the door to let some light in. The bathroom was terrible...big and a wet room but run down and the shower when first put on was so powerful it soaked the whole place...had to mop up with 3 towels which never dried because the extractor fan wasn't strong enough/working properly. The floor tiles were also very slippery (probably not the right tiles for a wet room) so we had to constantly have soaked towels down on the floor especially as I had my daughter with me who would have slipped. Beds weren't great in terms of mattress quality so was quite an achy start to each day.

Great Location near the beach. The town centre was within walking distance.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, sports bar on the premises.and free parking. Great location for visiting family and friends in Cleadon/South Shields

The room was very basic and a bit dated. Due to the cold, blue, light the room wasn't very cosy. It was occasionally loud at night when the neighbours used the bathroom

The location is excellent, right next to the amazing sea front with top class beaches and the wonderful marine park across the road. Free parking was very good, just had to enter registration on the device at reception The member of staff at reception was nice

Room we stayed in was very unhygienic and dirty. The sink contained hairs and dirt, the toddler's bed contained multiple unknown black items that was clearly not lint of fluff. The whole room floor creaked when walked , to the level at some areas through foot might go through the floorboards We paid for dinner and breakfast, dinner was interesting, half the main meal uneaten for multiple reasons. I checked into the hotel around 3pm went straight to the beach and came back for dinner at 6pm, putting my little one to bed at 7.30pm and ended up booking another hotel room and checked out by 8pm.
