Douche qui ne fonctionne pas ou mal Cuisine minuscule Casier dans la chambre beaucoup trop petit pour faire rentrer un sac Lit hyper bas et très inconfortable

+ Příjemná a aktivní komunikace s personálem na recepci + odpovídající poměr cena/kvalita + z hostelu dobrá dostupnost do centra Edinburghu + možnost uložit si zavazadla ještě před check-inem, nicméně přímo na pokoji skříňka malá, maximálně na nejmenší cennosti.

- tvrdé a proleželé matrace, (proto to na více než 1-2 noci není úplně ideální). Zejména kvůli ostatním hostům jsme se rádi posunuli někam jinam.

The Hostel radiates a much welcoming and unexpectedly strong feeling of warmth and coziness. The beautiful lounge and the smiling receptionists make you feel welcome and right at home. The staff is very determined on cultivating and maintaining a respectful environment for all the guests. This particular atmosphere encourages communication and connection among the motley crew of travellers using the establishment. I myself had the wonderful experience of listening to a fellow singing and gently playing the guitar in the morning. The beds were decent enough for this kind of accommodation and the shared toilets were sufficiently clean. Lastly the hostel is located right next to the Haymarket train station, making it very convenient for travellers, even though it should be noticed that it's not the main station of Edinburgh.

The room was decent, however its size could be bigger in order to be more spacious, considering the number of people it hosted. In addition, it would be very helpful if small lights (maybe LEDs) were installed to each bed for utility, reading purposes etc. Lastly, the lockers provided to store luggage were somewhat small (medium backpacks didn't fit) and also the staff didn't know yet how exactly they function (lock mechanism etc) because they were newly bought. However, it should be mentioned that they happily provided an effective alternate solution by using the dedicated luggage room.
