Travelodge by Wyndham Kapuskasing

Staff was fine. No functioning AC in the room, but they gave a fan for the second night. No natural light in the room so it was dark during the day. Breakfast had limited options

There are two types of rooms at this hotel. One is a room that has a door to the outside and a window. The second type on the lower floor has a small window like a basement apartment. So staying in one of those rooms is like staying in a dingy basement room, poor lighting, no comfortable chair to sit in. The toilet didn't flush properly. The was the worst room we had on a 17 night roadtrip.

The room had no AC partially boarded up window. And the smell was so bad

The property is very nice. Agent at desk friendly. The room size and bed comfortable. The only thing think I did not like was the carpet. Tiles might be a better option. The sheets on bed appeared clean. Bathroom and tub clean. Overall great.

Breakfast was nice, the lobby was clean, our stay was quiet. Staff were friendly

Our room had a strong odour of ammonia, the carpet was damp, and the bed only had one thin blanket.

For non smoking rooms The rooms smelt of smoke and carpets were dirty. The breakfast was all gone by 7:30 in the morning and they did not put anything else out even when we asked.
