Fair price and not that far away from Tokyo (about an hour by train). The breakfast was good and the staff were nice.

The AC had a weird odor (like humidity) when you turned it on, I think that's what I disliked the most about my stay. But considering the price I'd say it wasn't a deal breaker.

I've stayed here a bunch of times and loved it! Even one of my kids was *probably* conceived here!! It used to be my go-to, but they've let it go so bad. It used to be so clean and quiet and for the money you couldn't go wrong. This time the walls are covered in mould and it smells mouldy too. I'm not sure it would meet code to be fair. The walls have cracks and wallpaper is coming off. My room was situated next to the office and I had the communal fridge outside my door, so there was coming and going all (and i mean ALL) night, and people using the kitchen at stupid hours, which should be addressed by management. I hardly slept in 3 days. I'm not sure the airconditioner was removing any moisture at all because as soon as I changed temperature, everything got condensation on it. It seems Management knows about it because there were several moisture absorbers dotted quietly around the room. Honestly so disappointed but staying for three nights on the cheap it felt not worth it to say anything.

There are no lifts (5th floor, using stairs for 3 days). There are no hot/warm water in shower. It's always too hot in shower/lavatory. You can't block people from opening door in lavatory when you are using it. There are some strange smell in the very small room. Maybe to use this hostel for only 1 night would be OK, but living for 3 days was just a hell, for a price like it was at least 3 stars hotel.

The single room was clean and nice for the price. Near popular locations.

If you ever want to see a typical shady, worn down place what they present in movies as "hostels", go for it. The building is old and has no elevator. Staff didn't help getting the luggage up. It was crazy hot in the toilet. The neighborhood is not a nice place.

建物・施設はかなり古いが、掃除が行き届いているので清潔。この料金で個室はありがたいです。各部屋にエアコンとテレビも完備。素泊まりするのに全く問題ないと思います。 ただ階段のみでエレベーターが無いのが残念...

格安ホテルと割り切りば問題なく泊まれます。

Brilliant location. The room was clean although it was quite small.

This property does not have a lift......So, you have to go up with your luggage.
