The Rockford Inn

Lovely inn tucked away by the river Lyn. Great walks from here, and you're very close to Lynmouth and Exmoor. Good breakfast and I enjoyed my evening meal.

Wonderful experience for my wife and I Accommodation and service were excellent with superb food on offer With easy access to lovely walks , this proved to be an excellent choice will definitely go back

Lovely place indeed with good service and hospitality. We really enjoyed the gorgeous nature around the hotel.

Inn is in a pleasant river valley and provided a lovely stay during our trip to Cornwall

The Rockford Inn may be out of the way, but its a little gem, a bit quirky as its old fashioned, if you want modem forget it. The food was excellent and the drinks speak for themselves well worth a visit, The river running in-front of the Inn although noisy cannot be heard inside the inn so sleeping is not a problem. The only issue I had was the wifi was not great but that could be my machine as it worked great in the pub but the room was slow

The Rockford Inn was an historic free pub with a very friendly environment, good food and drinks, clean and comfortable rooms, and eveything at contained prices.

Clean, tidy, and in beautiful surroundings. Food was good too. Maybe a bit quiet for me during the evening but if you want peace and quiet, ideal.

Wonderful walks and views, a little remote for us townies but if you want the peace and quiet this is the place to stay. Great breakfast and welcoming staff. Nothing was to much to ask. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. We had a great experience and enjoyed our stay Thank you

Hotel is in a small hamlet and not in Lynton as advertised. That didn’t bother me as the setting is beautiful but may be a problem for people wanting amenities on their doorstep. I had a single room which was very small. Service and food was very good. Hotel had a lot of character and would suit ramblers as near lots of good walks.

We had an amazing stay. The surrounding area is stunning and perfect for walking. The room and the little touches were perfect. We will definitely plan a future trip. Breakfast was spot on.
