Aleeyah and Beatrice (at breakfast) were super helpful and accommodating. I love having a tub, security box and iron. The free snacks were so nice as was the excellent full service breakfast! The location was within walking distance of all of history Charleston.

The outside of the buildings need some TLC and looked run down...but the rroms were well kept and well appointed.

Barksdale House is very conveniently located and within walking distance to shopping, many restaurants and the Charleston Museum. Breakfast was very good as well as the service. Great atmosphere for a colonial style building. Also plenty of parking.

No complaints.

Excellent, location, beautiful breakfast and georgous property. Very comfortable bed, lovely to have the free snacks to take while out exploring and the free glass of wine in the afternoon. Nice to sit down with some of the other guest and enjoy a wine together. Highly recommend.

It is centrally located in town and you can walk everywhere you want to.

We are older and found the stairs to be a challenge. No fault of the inn.
