Great location. Great breakfast. Excellent outside area. Nice staff!

Little more attention to room cleaning

The location was great - walkable to lots of attractions. The breakfasts were good and the staff was really friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfy and the room was very clean. Parking was behind the house and very convenient.

It would have been nice to have either hooks or towel bars in the Shower area, but there were neither. The only place to put wet towels was on a shelf. Maybe they didn't finish installing hooks/bars when they remodeled or retiled?

Location

Everything. This is my favorite place to stay in Charleston. I am a history nerd and love the historic property and the antique/vintage furnishings. The staff is very nice and they have good free breakfast. The beds are comfortable, the whirlpool bath was relaxing, and it is close to everything. Safe parking lot for your car also. This was my second time staying here and I'll definitely stay here again when I come back to Charleston.

I brought my Roku stick to use with the TV but there wasn't a good place to plug it in without getting an extension cord. Not really their fault, they have cable tv anyway so it was fine. It's just a small thing and wouldn't prevent me from returning. They had plenty of plugs near the bed, more than I needed in fact.

Die Unterkunft ist richtig so wie man es sich vorstellt. Sehr freundlicher Staff und hübsches Zimmer.

our room on the 1st floor was so much bigger than expected. Loved the breakfasts, history and comfort of the whole place. Super convenient too. Will be back!
