Beautifully restored and appointed old Charleston home. Comfortable beds, full breakfast made to order, great central location and excellent, helpful staff. Very Highly recommend!

The location was amazing. Ample parking. Close to everything we wanted to do. The staff really tried.

The property has immense potential. Having owned a building built in 1867 I am aware of the nuances of older structures. That being said, basic upkeep and maintaince is sorely lacking. From not being dusted, bathrooms needing caulking, carpets needing to be cleaned or replaced, loose shelving & handles, peeling paint to the furniture being broken, uncomfortable or unusable there really wasn't a way to actually be comfortable in the room. The outside sitting area landscaping was overrun and leaves/ debris everywhere. For the size of the rooms, it's a shame there's not a small kitchenette area with a microwave and coffee maker in each room.

Carriage House bedroom’s shower had poor pressure.

Super close walking distance to several key spots in charleston.

Nothing huge but had some deferred maintenance issues around the property.

Property is in a excellent location. Just around the corner is lots of restaurants and shopping.

Charming home. Beautiful decor and helpful, friendly staff. My only complaint is that we were on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. It's my fault for not noting that. We had the only room with 2 beds, so it could sleep 4. Room was very nice, but my husband had to slimy down the side of the walk to get out on the middle of the night to go to the restroom. They might consider using 1 double and 1 queen bed to give some more space on the room.
