Beautiful historic building. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was walkable for sightseeing and dining. Breakfast to order was very good. Coffee and snacks available 24/7. Comfortable bed. Parking behind building is convenient for nominal charge.

Our room wasn’t clean from previous guests and the receptionist wasn’t aware until she brought us there. Room 4 was very musty even with an air filter. Do not stay in this room with respiratory problems. Besides the room not ready, there were towels and sheets spread on the meal tables in the sun room in the afternoon- not a good first impression when arriving.

"Would possibly not return of my own choice!"

Some staff members were helpful but others were not so..Frank was outstanding and deserves 5 stars for his help thru my last day.He helped me with my luggage and assisted in my choices for breakfast! A true gentleman at the inn! The location was excellent though..Breakfast was a multichoice and very appetizing!

It was on the third floor with no elevator and stairs were steep..no color to the bedroom and no 4 poster bed for a high price during the week Monday thru Wed was over $200 a nite!! The bed needed a puffy comfortable and colorful cover was stiff and starchy and bland!!!The room was not cozy at all!!Just the bathroom wallpaper in comparison to the bedroom was much better in its decoration and the bathroom fit more rhe vintage look that the inn tried to carry!! .I was better off at a hotel if it was in the same location..!!

"It was a perfect week celebrating our 20th Anniversary."

Everything!! This is the perfect place to stay in Charleston! I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and they exceeded my expectations. From the warm greeting upon checking in, to the friendly staff every morning at breakfast they set the perfect environment! The location is perfect to walk the town to eat or shop on King Street. We will definitely stay with them again!

Nothing - it was an absolutely perfect week!
