This is heaven on earth for birdlovers and photographers. The road to the lodge has a lot improved over the last 5 years. Only the last 1.5km are dirt road. The lodge is very nice with huge and spacious rooms. They now have also AC in the room. The food is excellent with 3 choices for lunch as well as dinner. They have 2 platforms where you can photograph the entire day birds. And there are a lot of birds. They also have other activities like hummingbird of bats photography. Finally, the people are very very kind

GBStaff were amazing doing their best to give you a great experience. It was obvious that they were passionate about delivering exceptional service: everyone from guides to those serving dinner were fantastic. Most people had worked there a long time and took real pride in the lodge. Nothing was too much trouble. We were heading to their macro tour and the guide directing us there stopped and showed us a laughing falcon. That kind of consideration for our experience was shown consistently during our stay. We took the public bus there from Pital and they kindly picked us up which was really helpful to our budget. Everything is run incredibly well and the bird feeders helped elevate the experience as there was always something beautiful to watch. Food was great and the accommodation was simple, clean and comfortable. The hammocks overlooking the beautiful, peaceful gardens were a bonus
It would have been nice to have some hummingbird feeders to complement the other bird feeders
USFantastic wildlife. This is one of the best eco-lodges you can find. A mature lodge. Food is excellent and the staff is better. Just a great place. Second trip there.
