Beautiful hotel in a great location

The lady in the room next to us was on the phone to someone from about midnight until 3am, and we could hear every word, so sound proofing an issue.

Ein schönes Hotel in sehr guter Lage, gut ausgestattet mit geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Auch das Restaurant und der Pub haben uns gut gefallen. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Die Badezimmer sollten vielleicht gelegentlich auf einen zeitgemäßen Stand gesetzt werden.

Shower

Wonderful location right near the waterfront. The common areas were nicely presented but a lot of the inside is starting to look tired.

Room was “underwhelming”. Was expecting a more luxurious decor. The shower over the bath would be a real problem for many.

Busy street with lots of noise at night. Shower needed a good clean.

Beautiful building, in keeping with art deco heritage. Lovely shared roof garden/terrace with arbors and view to sea and beach. Lovely decor and great location in the heart of old Napier

Service in the restaurant was slow...despite the waiter using the window as a door to shorten his access to the terrace. Rooms are quite tight but do have access to roof terrace.

We liked the authentic Art Deco feel with all the little touches. Very friendly and helpful staff We enjoyed our dinner and drinks after in the bar

The room fridge constantly emptied noise through the night…powering up and down.
