The staff was polite and checked us in and out.

The room was very dusty and incredible humid during our stay. The shower was clogged and the water would rise to your ankles by the time you were done showering. Our bedsheets had dark stains and cigarette burns/holes. The entire building smelled strongly of cigarette smoke every time you entered the door and the stairwell. The stairwell had ashes in them as well even though smoking is not allowed, that is clearly not enforced. The hangers would fall off the rack and the anti-theft design made them incredibly hard to use. Was disappointed by our stay. Felt overheated or freezing every night and sick because of all the mold.

There was no breakfast It’s really run down and I didn’t know you could smoke so I am allergic to cigarette smoke so I was Avery stuffed and the bed was like a box spring instead of a mattres But it was the only room available in Yellowknife so better than sleeping on the floor at the airport

Free parking.

I had to switch to a room across the hall, because outside my first room, a bunch of noisy people who seemed in no rush to go away.

Bath towels and room hygiene

The receptionists were polite and friendly.

1. Awful smell of cigarettes. Everywhere. In the room, in the bathroom, in the lobby. 2. The hotel is ancient and outdated. 3. A big group of addicts is located right in the backyard. They are fighting, swearing, and screaming from dusk to dawn. 4. The bed is inconvenient. The furniture is broken. 5. The towels are old, thin, yellow, and have stains. 6. Overpriced.

The hallways reeked of cigarret smoke and there's a gang of teenagers that congregate in back of the hotel late night... Convenient walking distance to old town, grocery and drug stores...
