TownePlace Suites Bridgeport Clarksburg

I along with a team of colleagues stayed at the Bridgeport TownePlace for several months while working on a project in the area and can't say enough good things about the awesome staff and their willingness to accommodate our team. Even at a place like TownePlace that offers many homey creature comforts like a kitchenette and free laundry, being away from home for extended periods of time isn't always the greatest, but Ms. Rainie at the front desk in particular showed a willingness to go the extra mile to show great customer service and help make our extended stay away from home a little more bearable.

All thumbs up for this hotel. Room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The grounds were immaculate. Special thanks to Rainie, who checked me in. She was friendly, greeted me with a smile, and made me feel very welcome. I wish every hotel had such an enjoyable check-in experience. I'll be traveling to this town many times over the next six months, and there is no doubt that I'll be staying here each time. I give it the absolute best rating possible.

This hotel was overrun by a visiting baseball team. Kids raced through the halls yelling, abused the exercise room and pool, and the bar had to be shut down because the kids were allowed to invade it. What a terrible experience.

Comfortable bed and spacious room. Good breakfast. Very clean!

The staffs were nice and friendly. My only issue was the condition of the bathroom. There was mold all over the shower curtain. Not sure the last time someone stayed in the room i was assigned but it was disappointing. The rooms need to be cleaned properly. Apart from that, it was a nice stay. Very wheelchair accessible.

We chose this place based on reviews. The location is excellent with a variety of restaurants and shopping. Walmart, Kroger and Sams Club nearby. Check-in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was the usual carb loaded offerings. Nothing for diabetics. Not every traveler wants cereal, muffins, waffles and bagels. Toast was not offered. No sugar free yogurt or options. Large king suite. As I was unpacking, I realized there was no closet. Wait! Guests are expected to hang clothes in trash/broom closet in the KITCHEN!!! No thank you. The front desk said “take the trash can out of the closet.” it is still a dirty closet. Warning - No USB ports in the room. Not even on night stands. Had to go to Walmart to purchase wall adapters. There are many hotels around the area to select from with updated amenities and a proper closet. Major fail Marriott!!

Great place! Enjoyed our stay! The young lady named Amy at the front desk is AMAZING! She is energetic, friendly and caring! Amy made us feel welcome.
