Bayit Bagalil Boutique By Herbert Samuel

I have just come from a very stressful visit to Bayit Begallil over the last 3 days. We booked with central reservations for half board on friday and saturday night and paid accordingly. This was confirmed when we checked into hotel. Saturday night the restuarant was closed and no explanation was given. We told to order from lobby but this would not be available until after shabbat at 8.30pm. I am diabetic and cannot wait that long. No help, no assistance and no explanation. No offer to pay back the half board just rudeness from all staff, apart from the Restaurant manager who was very sweet. No manager wanted to assist. Rooms are dangerous with unmarked steps in rooms and bathrooms

The hotel is very relaxing and well decorated. It is in the middle of the forest, so it is very quiet. The staff were very kind and helpful. We had an amazing time and would definitely love to come back.

I've had my eye on this hotel for awhile, because of the spectacular location, views and absolute quiet. We booked one of the largest suites, which had a huge balcony, private pool and hot tub. Lucky for us, because we basically hid in our room the entire time. That said, the hot tub had things growing in it, the door handle broke off and there was such a bad sewage smell in one of the bathrooms, we couldn't even go in there. Absolutely no facilities here. The main pool is small, and surrounded by concrete. Plastic cups and water. No clean up at all. The "Spa" is a couple of treatment rooms and two lone steam rooms up by the pool area. Food was a bit worse than an industrial wedding hall. Nothing fresh, whatsoever. Cakes were frozen. Bread, (how is this possible in Israel?) was stale. Warming trays of mush served at dinner. NO food service at all during the day, anywhere. We made sandwiches at breakfast, good thing, cause we would have starved otherwise. On a better note, the staff was friendly and did try to help whenever we had a request. They dug out a yoga mat (stained) from somewhere and brought us ice whenever we asked. It's really a shame someone doesn't invest just a little bit of thought into this hotel, since the location and grounds are quite special.

Dont expect any "boutique" feature from this place. The only thing I felt was boutique , was the price. The hotel itself is very nice but... No one speaks English at the hotel, staff is hard to find and not friendly at all. Breakfast is very poor, with food that looks like have been there for ages, no replacements, staff hides themselves behind a closed glass door... Dinner took 2 hours, there was only 1 waiter for the whole hotel. My room had spider nets in the bathroom.. I really dont understand why the call it boutique. I came to a conclusion that in this country, they call everything that is small, boutique, regardless of the service level. At checkout they told me that I needed to pay another 500 nis for the dinner, which was already paid. She claimed that it was not showing in the system. After complaining , she said that since I dont want to pay, I can go.... (like as Im the one making issues). Herbert Samuel never more.

Amazing holiday breakout 🙌🏻 we came to celebrate Independence Day. The hotel is so beautiful and well maintained. The hotel is based inside the Birya forest makes you feel you are part of the nature, there amazing viewpoints and panoramic views. We would like to thank Akram the hotel manager for the wonderful hospitality and taking care of us and always makes sure we are all good. We would also like to thanks Neta and the amazing team for the professional service and her kindness. The hotel restaurant is so delicious, truly a chef restaurant, a must for dinner. Thanks we will definitely come back!

The place was clean and the rooms were a nice size ! The beds were very comfortable. When I asked if we could get breakfast to our room that was not possible. I'm not sure why . But that would have made our visit perfect . But it was close to perfect . The forest is literally right there and we spent the day swimming playing ping pong and sitting in the forest. Also the staff was certainly caring and attentive . One of the ladies there gave me a yoga mat to use while I was there !! I got to work out and meditate doing Yoga 🧘‍♂️ and I highly recommend this hotel for the environment was perfect for relaxation and calm . It was surprisingly quiet w kids there too. We went during pessach . Half the stay was in a room w a private pool and this is highly recommended . The manager gave us an upgrade which was really nice and we stayed in the African Tent which was dreamy . Spacious with an enormous big screen to watch a movie and a heated pool with a private space terrace overlooking the forest . I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a real vacation and for someone who needs green and forest near to relax!

Loved everything about the hotel! Fabulous decor, breakfast and room. Dinner menu was fair as was food. We will definitely return.

I liked the room, the facilities the breakfast the warmth and good hospitality and the message in the spa. During the breakfast the replacement of salads when they are finished should be verified and done more often. I experienced salads finished when I got to them and not replaced through all of my breakfast.

Nice place , good vibe however the dinner was poor .

It was okay. I had better expectations from Herbert Samuel chain and the price point. What was strange was: - Room was missing a number of amenities - Check in at 16.00 and check out at 11.00 is odd, first time I have experienced that. Nice hotels typically have flexibility. Overall it was okay and peaceful. Clean. Breakfast was great and the pool was nice. Only I had higher expectations from a higher priced hotel with a reputation.
