As a wedding venue, there is often a disco on Friday and Saturday evenings, which may cause some noise. Some rooms are directly above the disco. There is no elevator at the Ashburnham Hotel all rooms are only accessible by stairs. The restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Location ideal for golf at Ashburnham Golf Club and also for walking along coast path and harbour.

Bedroom and bathroom bit dated and tired, could do with refresh.

"Comfortable home from home"

The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We arrived after 9pm after a 4 hour drive. We missed dinner but sandwiches with crisps, salad and tea and a latte were brought to our room for us. Lovely staff member

"Dated, little noisy but still recommend"

Stayed in room 3, amelia earhart room for 1 night. Room was clean but dated, the windows are single glazed so trains and traffic can be heard clearly, shower cubicle could do with a bit of elbow grease under door on inside to get rid of the mould. Could hear the other customers talking in the restaurant until late while in the room so of you're a light sleeper and need an early night, could be problematic. But, the staff are truly lovely and the food is fantastic. Would definitely stay again.
