Brilliant stay and would definitely recommend. Lovely breakfast in true morning, staff are extremely helpful and friendly! Room are very clean and they have thought of everything. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Friendly staff, lovely rooms and good food

Second time I have stayed at this cosy establishment with its friendly staff, peaceful ambience and generous sized rooms. The evening meals are worth travelling for. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at the Anchor a number of times over the last few years and have always enjoyed the homely and friendly atmosphere. This is a family run small hotel/restaurant/pub with comfortable and well appointed accommodation. The restaurant provides an excellent choice of meals - I would recommend the hone made pies - and breakfast always provides a great start to the day. We stay there primarily as it is close to family relations but the location is also a great base for walking the hills and countryside in the area. Fully recommended

The Anchor Inn was a very nice place to stay. The room was very comfortable, the staff friendly and the food great. It had a great location, close to places of interest but not in a busy place. The view from the hotel was just gorgeous.
