Gazelle Hotel

It's hard to beat the location of the Gazelle on the Menai Strait. Gorgeous view across to the Bangor Pier and across to Y Gogarth. Rooms are comfortable, and we had a nice view. Shower is great -- exactly what you need when you're on the road after a long day.

Only real complaint is that the WiFi wasn't working.

Warm, comfortable and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was exceptional. Rooms clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

The room was cold until we worked out were the heating switch was. No information given on check in

Lovely one night stay at the Gazelle in early December. The location is just fabulous. The room was basic but very clean and had a nice shower. I didn't pay for a Sea view but I can just imagine looking out to sea would have been stunning. The bar area is very cosy, and the food just wow, ' gourmet pub grub' that exceeded my expectations.

They were just a couple of things whilst they did not spoil my stay they didn't give the best impression. Firstly the stairs leading to the first floor rooms looked very tired and needed fresh carpet and repaint. Secondly which I found very strange, the reception was in complete darkness when I tried to check out. I had to knock on the kitchen door to attract the attention of the chef to hand over my keys. I understand the Gazelle was under new management, so I hope these little things are in the process of being fixed because I look forward to staying again when in Anglesey.

Excellent location, good shower and good breakfast.

Room facing the back was too small. The ones facing the Menai Straits were a lot better. Worth the upgrade.

The staff, the location, the meal..everything was lovely.
