The Oystercatcher

Booking.com said breakfast was included. When I arrived at the accommodation, I was told the rate paid was not substantial with the booking. Breakfast would be charged extra. Also, the only room available was a triple room with two beds on booking.com. When I arrived, I was given a room with only one bed. It was not listed on the guesthouse nor booking.com. I paid extra for a room that I hadn't booked. The husband was not hospitable at all. He answered the door and said his wife wasn't home and it was her business. The house is on the main road so very noisy from the traffic. The floor wasn't swept. Water pressure wasn't great in the shower. Old fashioned tub so it could be difficult for older people.

Breakfast was great, but should have been included in booking charge.

Did not like paying separately for breakfast.

Very clean , comfortable and nothing too much trouble for the hosts. The room and private bathroom are very stylish An amazing setting , short walk from town and very quiet. Lovely breakfast. This is our second time staying and will be back.
