Honeymoon Inn Shimla

We had an upgrade to a honeymoon room which looked like something out of a 70s sitcom... As did much of the hotel! But i say that in a good way, it's all very well presented. Lovely staff looked after us very well. It's in a fab location, easy (about a mile flat and traffic free walk to the main square) Yes there it is about 150 metres from nearest taxi access. But that is no issue if you're mobile! Good food and breakfast We loved our stay!

Nothing. Room was a bit cold too start, but heater was supplied and it warmed up.

The location is very good , property is neat and clean , the staff is supportive.

Overall it was good exprience

There was nothing to dislike

Lovely location with stunning views down over Shimla and a nice walk to The Ridge (10 mins or so from the back entrance). Spacious, clean and nicely presented room with large, comfortable bed, great shower, radiator and big picture window. Breakfast and the restaurant food in general was really good. All the staff we met were excellent - very friendly, attentive and efficient. We enjoyed our 4 night stay here.

The only thing is the the lack of soundproofing as you can hear the noise from the restaurant and terraces. Wasn’t a big problem as tended to be quiet after 10 or 11pm.

Nous avons aime la vue sur Shimla et un emplacement correct mais pas sur le mall. Il faut marcher un quart d’heure. Le 2eme petit déjeuner était meilleur que le 1er. Le personnel a monté les valises avec courage car les voitures ne peuvent pas accéder à l’hôtel. L’hôtel est très calme.

- la déco très vieillotte. - l’absence d’accueil le jour de notre arrivée - peu de papier toilette ds la chambre - un premier PDJ sommaire.
