Honeymoon Inn Shimla

The staff went out of there way to make sure our stay in Shimla was the best. When they brought us to our room and noticed the space heater was not providing enough heat, they brought in another heater. The view from the room is amazing.

Comfortable room spacious A bit chilly but radiator helped Nice toiletries Views were amazing Swing seat was fun Outside terrace was lovely space to sit Reception was helpful booking tickets for cable car & directing us We had breakfast one morning which was lovely and staff in there were very friendly

Very noisy Literally we could not sleep Other inconsiderate rife guests partied late I rang reception several times and they did nothing I tried to complain at reception but got ignored very frustrating ruined our existence People using the fire which was nice in one way was also really smoky and grim to be around People drinking around it being noisy & rude Lots of noisy children even at night Could be a great hotel but no sleep made it bad for us

Shimla is lovely albeit steep climbs in places. Very comfortable hotel. Lovely views from the bedroom. Comfortable bed with electric blanket and a good heater. Friendly and helpful staff and on site restaurant. Beer available! Close to the cable car.

As mentioned in previous reviews, it's a steep climb to hotel as cars not allowed to the hotel albeit the hotel porters are great. Shimla is by it's nature hilly so that may be an issue for less mobile people. The restaurant is a little chilly.

Welcoming staff, heater in rooms very comfortable

Dinner not served until 8pm felt it should have been earlier

Clean, comfortable, great views of the town and sunset from our room, lots of communal areas and a wood burner stove at reception. Staff exceptionally polite and helpful.

Nothing really, the entrance hill is quite steep but wasn’t a problem for us.
