The Perch Resort

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and we'll situated but the best of it all was the grounds! With a river and lots of paths to walk!!

Misleading name for the property. It is not a resort and dining in the area is limited. I do not recommend this property.

Wi-Fi didn’t work in cabin 6

The views were nice and the property was clean and fairly comfortable.

There is no good/easy way to get here. I came in on the train and it looks nearby, but there is only a single shuttle service available with limited service that charges 6x what is reasonable. The staff is short, bothered, and unpleasant with little concern for the guests, which other guests agreed with, so it wasn't just me. The property is pretty spread out with no easy way for getting your bags around. For the price they charge, this is just not worth it. Another big negative is that there is next to nothing nearby. The pizza shop opens way late and was closed the whole time I was there, and so was the "onsite restaurant", with only one other place quite a walk away in the cold. This place would be okay if you have your own transportation, and like hiking around with all your stuff, and bring your own supplies and food...
