Tiger Safari Resort, Ranthambhore

Notre séjour s'est bien passé dans cet hôtel. Par contre l'eau chaude n'est disponible qu'à certaines heures (une fois le matin et une fois le soir pendant 2-3 heures) et les chambres ne sont pas chauffés. Du coup si vous vous y rendez l'hiver vous risquez de ne pas avoir très chaud. Ils louent des chauffages électriques pour la nuit mais il faut les payer. Sinon ils peuvent vous organiser le Safari au Ranthambore National Park sans problèmes mais il prendront une commission dessus (2000 roupies tout compris / personne pour un safari en Jeep et 1600 roupies tout compris / personne pour un safari en Canter). Par contre une personne viendra vous chercher devant l'hôtel et vous y déposera au retour, c'est l'avantage.

Tiger Safari Resort è un luogo molto piacevole in cui soggiornare. La nostra stanza era spaziosa, confortevole e pulita rispetto agli standard indiani. La stanza e l’intera struttura sono decorate da splendidi dipinti di tigri. La cucina del ristorante è molto buona. Il personale è stato gentile, disponibile e molto efficiente nell’organizzazione del safari.

Staff were really friendly and opened up the shop next door to allow us to buy jackets for the chilly morning safari. We were delighted to see a tiger on our afternoon safari:)

Service orientation is totally lacking. The staff is very commercially oriented , especially while doing the check out process and booking the tiger safari . All room service payments were done in cash ( very surprising for a hotel booked through expedia).

It was the worst Hotel Stay I had. I was overcharged for the Safari Tour and my car was vandalized on the property. The back window was broken out.

VERY COMFORTABLE STAY

Hotel is in perfect location for Tiger Safaris. Comfortable accommodation at V Good price.

This hotel has the coolest and best hotel manager ever. Has it's own restaurant with a very good chef. The inner yard is secluded and cosy. The pool is very nice. Unfortunately, as is often the case in India, there is absolutely no sound insulation, atleast not on the first two floors in the main building. The sound from the lobby travels straight into your room. The balconies are very, very nice. Highly recommended if you wanna get away from the hectic and crowdy pulse in Delhi or Agra.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The manager was welcoming from the moment I arrived. He took the time to answer my numerous safari-related questions (with helpful insights gleaned from his personal safari experiences) and make all necessary arrangements. It is obvious that he is genuinely concerned with providing a great experience to his guests. The dining room opens early to provide breakfast for guests on morning safari. An added benefit of the location (between the booking office and the park) is that you are typically among the first people picked up by safari vehicles, so you can get a good seat.

this village/town does not has many hotels so choice is limited. upfront avoid travelling to this village/town altogether. the safari is not worth the effort. room windows were leaky. i stayed in early winter and cold draft from the window made for an uncomfortable sleep. bed/mattress quality for poor. smallish tv had poor signal. hot water supply is limited to a few hours and even then is an on and off affair. food was average. price was unreasonably high for such a small village/town. service was ok but it came at unreasonable price. hotel room rate itself is high. and then everything else is priced unreasonably high. most hotels accomodate late checkout at little to no cost while this hotel asked for half the room rate for only a few hours. taxi availability is poor and costs much. auto ride is uncomfortable. since hotel is located at a distance from everything you do not have much choice. auto/taxi has to be called for or you have to wait hoping somebody would pass and pick you up.
