Tiger Safari Resort, Ranthambhore

A hotel with a friendly staff, clean bathrooms & worth every penny you pay for. Ideally located between the booking office & the Forest entry gate.

tiger safari is hopeless. its know that at time of the year one cannot see the tigers, they should mention it clearly. I am thankfull to our hotel manager who advise us not to book both safaries morning and evening with the hopes to see the tigers. Otherwise everything else is ok, fine.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the pool was a real treat! Food was top notch - freshly made. Our questions and concerns over some previous booking errors (made by ourselves) were efficiently resolved and our stay was then worry free. A jeep safari was arranged for us at the last minute and even though we were not lucky to see a tiger up close, others in the resort did. Excellent value for the cost!

The hotel arranged for our safari tickets to be picked up so we didn't have to collect at 5am. The staff were very helpful. Food was good in the restaurant. Good price compared to other hotels in the area.

This is very expensive compare to the cost of room traiff no facilty availble , ac was not working , changed the room after raised the concern , no parking facility though it is shown in site, no water in pool ,

Rooms and bathrooms are maintained to a satisfactory standards. Frequented by foreigners.

The hotel is maintained properly. The beds are not much comfortable. Pick up and drop facility is not available from Railway Station.

I stayed in this hotel because it was one of the locations where the Tiger Safari would pick me up. The room was nothing special, but the hotel staff was helpful and I could pay 100 rupees to have them pick up my safari tickets in the morning so I didn't have to get up so early. The hotel had a large backup generator, which was necessary because the power would often go out. The restaurant attached to the hotel was one of the most expensive restaurants I went to in all of India.

firstly...the location of hotel in google maps is absolutely wrong. It about 10 km away from where it is shown in google maps The room was spacious but linen was dirty. Phone in the room and tv were not working no hot water in bathroom no restaurant in hotel pool was under repair staff were good but for most things they said...'sir..off season'

We stayed on the 14th & 15th of April in room 108. we booked through expedia and was very happy with our room. breakfast was included and was great. The Manager?Owner of the hotel was so helpful to us, he booked the safari for us and even arranged for us to get a car when we didnt get on our train. The rest of the staff however seemed uninterested with their guests and seemed put out that guests wanted something, it sometimes felt like we were interupting them. the only reason we gave 4 for staff was because of the manager. Room was clean, food was good. The area of the restaurant is maybe not as clean as it could be considering there were lots of staff about.
