Holiday Spa Hotel

40 minutes to check in i showed them my confirmation but they had to call somebody they called me back and i had to pay for it i had already paid for it call me back after i eat breakfast and said i had to pay but it was included put me in the wrong room how to change 5 times i had to walk back to the front desk many times. What the worst thing that happened two people were very unhappy and i kind of threw the money on the counter so one of the people from the gym . You can't do that so they left and then about 12 employees i'll come out of gym and a security guard and the rest of staff gather around laughing how they were going to beat those two people up i work to the hotel management for quite a few years i would have fired everyone it was so unprofessional i just can't leave this hotel was that poor i paid a lot of money for. The pool had only one lane for the guest so you couldn't really swim. Probably the worst hotel i stayed in for a long time. Bad hotel rude people not very efficient there is more for me but i will stop here usually i give everybody to benefit of the doubt., this hotel is not a good one

Nice place to stay. Pool view was nice. Spacious. Shower as hot as you want.

Always love Holiday Spa Hotel. Clean, comfortable, pool, decent food and service, all for reasonable price. Neighborhood looks bad, but it’s actually easy walk to IT Park, Crossroads, and The Greenery

Poor service on their Cafe/restaurant. No receipts shown. Waiter just told us how much the bill was.

The hotel is small and simple ,almost homey . I enjoy the kids and people in the pool taking swimming lessons . The hotel gym is affordable.

Excellent value for money, with the only negative being the adjoining restaurant. My girlfriend got a small lump of glass in her food, I even heard the crunch of teeth on glass. On another occasion I got a sore stomach from the food and I met another guest that suffered the same.

Air condition broke , had to ask staff to have some one look at it twice. Must have been shift change. 3 of 4 of us got sick from something in the restaurant. Half our stay was bed ridden. Pool is blocked off for lane swimming. Can't really use it unless swimming laps, no family pool days. Entrance is down an alley, pictures on websites are deceiving. No shopping in the area but there are several restaurants around the corner but on a busy narrow street with no sidewalk.

If you pool and gym at reasonable price - it is good. Building exterior starting to age. Access to town - taxi in Cebu traffic can be time consuming. Staff excellent. Food in site - good. Internet available in public area for Pesos $50 per hour.If you have a mobile, pick-up the free chip at airport. Then add to the data (called 'load'). There are two providers and each need a separate chip (that is if a person is on one supplier you need data and their chip on your cell; if another person is on the other supplier - you need a separate chip and data for that supplier. The telephone in the rooms do not permit you to ring cellphones. Just also note your travel time could double between peak traffic times (7am-10am; 3pm-7pm/. Similarly the queues for taxis (especially at the airport) can be very long between 4pm and 7pm.

just a simple hotel. okay with its price.
