Lathkil Hotel

Brilliant location, excellent beer, lovely food, nothing is too much trouble. If only all hotels were like this.

Beautifully located hotel with unspoilt views across the Lathkil Dale's. Room 4 does not have such a view as it overlooks the car park. However, the room was cosy and very clean. Food was very nice and breakfast was a good choice. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Definatley worth a visit.

It was a return visit. The staff are amazing - so friendly and helpful so it is our go to location when visiting the Peak District.

Hotel is in a really good location. Short walk from Bakewell town. Very scenic views and staff really friendly. Overall amazing experience.

We had an extremely enjoyable three days at the Lathkil Hotel for our 45th wedding anniversary week. What an amazing little hotel and in such a beautiful location too !. Nothing was too much trouble for each and everyone of the staff. We were made to feel welcome from our arrival through to departure. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and the food was first class. We have decided to 'treat' our daughter and son-in-law for their wedding anniversary next June, particularly as they share our love for Derbyshire (I come from Buxton) and will shortly be booking them in for a week accordingly. Meanwhile Nigel and I will definately be returning ourselves, before then.

Warm, really clean, food excellent and lovely location

Wonderful country setting with great walks along public footpaths. The pub offers great food and drink—local ales—and is a gathering place for the far flung community. There is as a darts competition while we were there. Cozy and quite en-suite accommodation and a great cooked breakfast before we set out. We hope to come back.
