Ejeren af hotellet var rigtig flink og hjælpsom, men de andre ansatte ydede en meget lav service.

concept bien pensé, propriétaire sympa et disponible mais les chambres semblent plutôt bricolées ou en cours de travaux, les piscines individuelles sont séduisantes mais non pratiques et peu propres. Diner servi tard avec gentillesse, nourriture simple mais savoureuse, en revanche le petit déjeuner est une catastrophe. L'étang proche est nauséabond et lorsqu'on s'aventure en canoé le long du canal, il faut longer les habitations et leurs détritus...

Le personnel est super et n'hésite pas à se décarcasser pour vous. Un grand merci à eux. Magnifique chambre, lit trés confortable.

The hotel staff treat you like family, very helpfully. Nice people and quiet ambient. Pure relax. The food is very good, full flavored The rooms are quiet and clean. The bed and the bed clothes are perfects. I would recommend the privilege room, because of the pool. A very care hotel Excellent experience

Hotel surprenant en plein centre de Mahebourg. On découvre une oasis de verdure près d'une rivière. Les chambres sont très agréables surtout celles avec leur propre jardin et (petite) piscine et transat. Ma petite fille de 5 ans a beaucoup aimé et moi aussi . L'accueil est sympa et le concept "lodge" permet de faire rapidement d'autres rencontres. Concept entre l'hotel et les chambres d'hote. Le patron organise des cours et des soirées salsa qui permettent de rencontrer des mauriciens et de découvrir un petit bout de leur manière de vivre. Les lodges sont à quelques km de blue bay (nous avions une voiture de location).

Mycket trevligt hotell med egna bungalows och mycket trevlig personal. Frukost och middag ingår vilket var perfekt för vår familj som åkte runt för att uppleva nya saker varje dag. Lugnt läge i utkanten på Mahebourg, ändå gångavstånd till stan. Vi hyrde bil för att åka runt, tar Max en timme till andra sidan ön. Hotellet hjälper till med bokning av taxi för heldagsutflykt vilket kostar runt 750 kr. Hyrbil kunde vi hyra på stan för 375 kr per dag. Hotellrummet ackumulerade mycket värme under dagen då vi hade stängt och låst vilket gjorde att takfläkten fick gå för fullt under natten. Svårt att ställa in varmvattnet på duschen men det var så varmt och fuktigt att vi oftast ville duscha kallt i alla fall. I det stora hela en mycket trevlig vistelse.

Sehr familiär, freundlich, hervorragendes Essen, Air-Conditioning fehlt noch, aber ist in Arbeit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

Great for nature lovers and if you want to have a real Mauritian experience. They have a pretty convenient early check-in. We were picked-up at 7am and they offered us breakfast in that moment. Also they have a late check-out, so we could enjoy our last dinner without hurry. The owners are charming and treated us like family, helping us in everything we needed to make our stay more pleasant. Also the rest of the staff is very friendly and helpful. We chose the half-board plan and worth it. Ask for Ricardo`s cocktail, and maybe you`re lucky to try his speciality: "oeufs rôties". Virginie prepares delicious omelettes. My parents had a nice experience too. We were neighbours. The rooms are so well isolated, you don`t hear a noise inside. There is a big supermarket not very far away, where you can buy shampoo, etc. And the most important: the best beach (Blue Bay). Ask for COCO to do the glass bottom boat; very nice guy. Even if you`re planning to go these days -while the spa isn´t prepared yet-, you can enjoy your own mini pool with running water at one of the prestige rooms. I loved the detail of the beach towels and you have a couple of comfortable deck chairs. Nicolas, special thanks to you. Cliff, you`re awesome. Joelle and the girls, so sympa you all... Can`t wait to go back! P.S. You don`t need a safe box; Mauritians are good karma people. Don`t worry about the ants. And even the dog is friendly!

Lovely quiet location clean spacious room great value

We Stayed here for 4 days and it was incredible. The setting is idyllic, calm and beautiful. Seeming detached from the world yet a step out of the drive and you are in the midst of Mahebourg. A free kayak journey, provided by the hotel, will bring you out in the scenic waterfront framed by mountains and blue seas. Room was Spacious and Comfortable. Both the living/sleeping area and the bathroom were impeccably clean. It has a beautiful view of the surrounding woods and mountain. Staff were polite and incredibly helpful. The owner is very welcoming and will do his utmost to ensure your stay is as satisfying as possible, from recommendations of things to do to arranging excursions for you. Food was local cuisine and beautiful in both taste and presentation. We would recommend this place highly if you are looking for an amazing place to stay with great staff but also would like a chance to witness the multi-cultural nature of the island.
