Lovely food and service

Bed was uncomfortable

Nice location but felt isolated

No chairs in room had to sit on bed bar was closed early

Staff were excellent. They even rang to ask if we were eating that night because tables were getting booked. Very thoughtful... Breakfast was nice (scrambled eggs on toast)

Ensuite was very cramped and the floor was really dirty

Absolutely fabulous! This is how hospitality should be.. a privately owned pub in quite a remote location which serves great, fresh food with great staff supported by local customers.. We stayed for 2 nights, rooms 3 &7, both with great views, really clean & faultless .. you can even get a bucket of ice from the bar for drinks in your room ! Thank you for our stay, we will definitely return again .. such great value for money too, thank you

Very lovely stay. Really enjoyed the food both nights and staff were so friendly & helpful.

It was a little noisy on an evening down at the bar and corridor when I was trying to sleep as I stayed for business purposes & needed to sleep. Another room had their TV on very loud until around 1/2am and could hear them talking early in the morning too which woke me up before my alarm so the first nights stay wasn’t as pleasant in terms of noise. The second night was a little better oddly as it was a Friday evening I was expecting it to be the same or even louder.
