The property is lovely clean and well kept. Lovely location to walk to the beach through the golf course. Husband played golf this time and really liked the course nice challenge. We hired bikes this time and went for a look around the village. Stayed for our meals and the food was great. Restaurant very accommodating getting us in the even when I hadn’t booked. All the staff were helpful and smiling even though you could see they were very busy but clearly work as a team as young man from golf shop seemed to working everywhere but would always have a chat. Stunning views over the golf course watching the sun set outside the Pavilion with a drink at the end of the day.

Breakfast was very good and service was excellent. Lots of choice and a hot cooked breakfast too!

There was no air conditioning and we had a fan that was very noisy in our room which didn't make much difference in the heatwave

Our room was excellent with plenty of space.

The cooked breakfast on our first morning was a bit disappointing, the poached and fried eggs were undercooked. The second morning we had scrambled which were perfect. We had a later breakfast that day and the coffee machine had run out of coffee.

It was a lovely well maintained old Manor House, good parking and in a very beautiful part of the country. The facilities were excellent and the food and drinks were of high quality and very reasonably priced. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional.

Only one thing that could be improved is the organisation of the restaurant, whilst all the staff were very pleasant and working hard it seemed that they lacked leadership and consequently some guests dining experience was a little disjointed. This obviously may not be the norm as we visited on a busy bank holiday.
