Blu' Beach Bungalows

Une semaine dans cet hôtel pas du tout entretenu. les oreillers sentent très mauvais la transpiration des clients précédents, le ménage est mal fait voire pas fait du tout, la literie est de très mauvaise qualité et le mal de dos vous accompagne tous les jours, le propriétaire et son adjoint sont inhospitaliers. J'avais passé une semaine dans cet hôtel il y a 2 ans et j'avais été très satisfait mais tout s'est dégradé. Je déconseille fortement cet endroit qui pourrait pourtant être bien + agréable s'il était entretenu.

Om ens resa passerar Koh Saumi och man inte är ute efter de stora festerna utan ett lugnare hotell kan detta hotell rekommenderas. Hotellet består av ca 15 bungalow och ligger ”On the Beach”, vilket inbringar en rofull stämning. Rummen är städade liksom övriga hotellet och personalen är mycket trevlig. Till hotellet går det enklast att ta sig med Tuck-Tuck som kostar 100 BAT (oavsett var du reser ifrån), från färjeläget Surat Thani tar resan ca 40 minuter. Dock kan tilläggas att ön är mycket exploaterat och det finns inte någon stad att upptäcka.

Ingen bra strand. Dåliga mat ställen i närområdet.

Lovely quiet place; rooms cleaned daily. Quiet air-con. Rooms have dvd players with a selection to pick from. Decent food at the bar. Very small swimming pool with comfortable sun chairs around and the beach directly in front. I noticed the description here saying it is 'near the beach', but it couldn't be nearer the beach unless it was actually on the sand! It's about a 7 min walk to the very busy night market area (not sure why ppl are saying that it's miles away from anything - it is a few kms from Lamaii central but I walked for a few mins and found the night market and plenty places to eat and drink or get massages, etc). It's not the place to be if you're looking to whoop it up every night, the bars on the beach here are pretty quiet. Lamai is a lot more sedate than Chaweng but it's still a busy area as regards numbers of places to eat, etc. I'd recommend staying here if you just want to totally relax whilst not spending too much cash on accomodation but also want clean and comfortable. Ask for rooms away from the main road side.

Loved this place! Room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. They gave us an open a/c room even though we booked a fan room. They also helped us book taxis to the airport. The resort itself was right on the beach and had a lovely shaded courtyard with a pool, restaurant and ping pong and pool. Definitley was pleasantly surprised by this place considering the price. Would stay here again on my next visit.

Super hotel. Direct aan zee. Strand te klein om op te liggen, maar ligbedden aan zee. Helaas geen WiFi op de kamer, maar wel bij het zwembad en de receptie :). Grote tip: Eet bij het hotel, heerlijk!

Wir kamen an und dachten wo sind wir hier????Die Ortschaft ist ca 2 km entfernt und es geht zu fuss an einer viel befahrenen Hauptstrasse entlang. Das Hotel selbst ist ruhig aber wer läuft schon gern am Seitenstreifen entlang um zu den Restaurants zu kommen. Ohne Roller ist es unbequem. Strand gibt es auch fast keinen denn der vorhandene ist nur 1 meter breit und bei Flut weg!!!!Trotzdem wars OK denn wir hatten den Pool meistens für uns allein. Die meisten Gäste waren junge langschlaefer motorisiert von daher hatten wir super Ruhe.

Lagom spartanskt men oerhört bekvämt boende. Personalen var superb och välkomnande. Tycker att avståndet till Lamai var bra så man fick sig sin dagliga promenad. Toppenställe, rekommenderas varmt

It is an ok hotel if you are traveling as a back packer. Nice little bungalow, not fancy but clean an with AC. In front of the ocean. Simple but we had a nice relaxing time.
