Riviera Beach House

Cozy room with private patio was perfect for the season. Bathroom compact with european style fixtures. The property was very clean and tidy. It was an easy walk from the train station. The staff was helpful and friendly, very professional. I expected to hear more noise from the trains, but it was surprisingly tranquil considering the proximity to both freight rail and travel rail roads.

The location was perfect. The check in was simple. The room was extremely small. Probably worse than NYC. My shower at night was fine. Felt like i showered in the toilet. The shower in the AM was freezing cold. I probably would not stay again

Riviera, was exactly what I was looking for and loved the restaurant attached to the building. No hot water during my stay is what really ruined the vibe.

The room was small and the tv did not work. The room had no curtains and glowed bright all night from the light coming from the shared communal patio space that did not have quiet hours. Furthermore the room is so small that your head where it lays on the bed is less than a foot away from a strangers butt (you are eye level with the chair on the patio space). At 4 am people went out to the shared space waking us up. We had the window cracked because the air unit was loud so this made for a very awkward situation that the drunk guest did not seem to take as a gesture to be quiet. I had to call the front desk, and I could hear them come tell the people to be more quiet but did not tell them to leave, so they stayed til about 5am. You can also hear everyone else’s unit running at night, it sounds like construction work but it’s other rooms ac units. It was by far one of the worst nights sleep I had.

Location is so central to the Pier. Loved being walking distance from the Funk Zone and there was so many beautiful bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel has a lovely boutique vibe that we really liked. The sitting are in the foyer is also a great touch.
