Riviera Beach House

From the location to the staff. Riviera Beach House is the place to stay. Its safe, staff is welcoming and the Mole was phenomenal.

Great location. Love the clean room, service and great staff. Love the coffee in the lobby.I will recommend to Family and friends.

Rooms were very small.

Proximity to the beach, the Amtrak station and downtown Santa Barbara. Many eateries only 2 blocks away.

Positives: perfect location. 5 minute walk to Lower State downtown. 2 minute walk to the beach. Complimentary bikes and beach towels. Nice lobby. Excellent blackout shades. Nice patios. Negatives: cleanliness. The bathroom was poorly cleaned. Floor felt dirty, we kept towels on the floor to keep our feet from touching. Visible dirt on the tile around the toilet. Thick layer of dust on top of flat surfaces like on top of the mirror in the room and on top of the bed frame.

The location is an 11/10! Close to everything yet it somehow still feels peaceful and quiet. I would have liked an in-room microwave or a kitchenette, and I’m unsure if other guest suites offer this amenity (I will check next time I book). Nevertheless, the guest services staff always went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, including refrigerating some food items and heating up food for us in the staff lounge. The common areas are beautiful and spacious, and I felt relaxed and right at home as soon as I arrived.
